FAQs

Find answers to common questions about the home inspection process.

What is included in a home inspection?

I start on the outside and inspect the exterior as well as the roof. Taking note of anything that I see wrong and taking lots of pictures. On the inside, I test every appliance, check every light switch and plug, check the heating and the air as well as every plumbing fixture. I take note of the conditions of the walls, ceilings and floors, check the breaker box, the water heater. I finish up with the attic and the crawl space and take all of this information and put it into a report the is easy to read and to understand. I also take care of my clients after the inspection, by giving them access to my resources, contractors that I know and any knowledge that I can pass on to them if they decide to fix things themselves. Even years after the inspection, I encourage people to reach out to me when they have questions.
